The T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka was a batting festival. Seven centuries were scored, a record for one edition, and totals of 250-plus were posted five times. That makes the best bowling figures in T20 World Cup 2026 even more special. Only two bowlers took five wickets in an innings during the whole tournament.
Here are the top bowling performances of the T20 World Cup 2026.
Romario Shepherd: 5/20 vs Scotland
The best figures of the tournament came on the opening day. On 7th February 2026 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd took 5/20 in just three overs against Scotland.
The highlight was a hat-trick in the 17th over, when he removed Matthew Cross, Michael Leask and Brad Davidson off consecutive balls. It was only the 10th hat-trick in T20 World Cup history and Shepherd's second in T20Is, making him the first West Indian with two T20I hat-tricks. West Indies went on to win all four of their group games.
Junaid Siddique: 5/35 vs Canada
UAE pacer Junaid Siddique took the only other five-wicket haul of the tournament, 5/35 against Canada in Delhi on 13th February. It was one of the standout performances by an Associate-nation bowler at the 2026 event.
Mohammad Nabi: 4/7 vs Canada
Afghanistan's veteran off-spinner Mohammad Nabi produced the most economical spell of the top five, 4/7 against Canada in Chennai on 19th February. Four wickets for seven runs in a tournament where teams regularly scored at more than ten an over shows how hard he was to get away.
