Although cricket is seen as a gentleman's game, it hasn't always been played softly. The cricket pitch has experienced both good and bad times, just like every other sport. While we frequently observe cricket players having fun and kidding around on the ground, we are also privy to some of the most brutal cricket fight in ground. Feelings frequently run strong, which causes fights that clash with the "heart of cricket."

The truth is that there have been numerous confrontations on the field all across the span of the "man's game," which has dulled cricket's luster. A higher authority must step in when a situation gets out of hand. The participants use the cricket ground as a fighting area when engaged in battle. For their favored players, supporters sparred on social media, and periodically it became harsher.

Throughout the Indian Premier League and several other cricket competitions, players have engaged in intense debates over ridiculous problems, leaving everybody and the fans wondering. As we examine them in this blog, let's glance at the ten spots players employed to battle their colleagues on the sports field.

  1. Andrew Symonds Vs. Harbhajan Singh

Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds and India's master spinner Harbhajan Singh got into a nasty fight in 2008 during the Sydney Series. Symonds later claimed that Singh had used the derogatory epithet "monkey" to refer to him. Bhajji was then given a three-match suspension, but team India decided to boycott the trip if the suspension was not overturned. After hearing criticism from both parties, Judge John Hansen dismissed the accusations against Bhajji due to a lack of proof.

  1. Shane Warne Vs. Marlon Samuels

One of the largest brawls ever seen on a cricket field. A BBL match between the Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades featured an ugly brawl between Shane Warne and Marlon Samuels. Marlon Samuels humorously aimed to grab David Hussey's jersey as Hussey tried to make another run even though he knew there was no second visit. But Shane Warne didn't give it much thought.

Later, during the second inning, when Samuels was on the field, Shane Warne began cursing at him, which could be heard via his player microphone. After holding the ball in the subsequent over, Shane Warne purposefully and methodically tossed the ball right at Samuels, making matters worse. Samuels flung his bat violently in the air, having had enough at that point.

  1. Harbhajan Singh Vs. Sreesanth

After the game, it was allegedly stated that Sreesanth went to Harbhajan Singh and said, "Well done," in a humorous way, offending and infuriating him. On television, Sreesanth could be seen crying, and it was later determined that Harbhajan had struck him in the face. Both cricket players chose not to remark on the argumentative exchange. Harbhajan Singh ultimately earned a one-season punishment.

  1. Kieron Pollard Vs Mitchell Starc

In 2014, Mitchell Starc of the RCB and Mumbai Indians batsman Pollard engaged in a physical altercation. He spoke to Pollard momentarily when he was experiencing trouble using the bat. After that, Pollard abruptly removed Starc with a wave of his hand. The very following throw, Pollard moved out of position as Starc was about to throw, but Starc continued and looked to go for Pollard, who was moving more towards the leg umpire. After that, Pollard raised his bat in Starc's direction and was about to throw it at him when it dropped from his grip.

  1. Ishant Sharma Vs Kamran Akmal

Kamran Akmal and Ishant Sharma of Pakistan were disciplined for their unpleasant altercation in the first T20 international in Bangalore. Both players engaged in a dispute during the match as the former was called not out after being taken off a no-ball from Ishant Sharma, then was declared out on the following delivery. It was soon noticed that the two parties were arguing.

  1. Virat Kohli Vs. Gautam Gambhir

Virat was playing brilliantly and had hit a few sixes in the ninth over of an IPL match between RCB vs. KKR in 2013. He came down the track and slammed a shot into the hands of sweep covers in the subsequent over. Disappointed by this, Kohli turned around and headed back to the stadium when he noticed Gambhir jubilantly applauding his removal and overheard words he didn't like. Virat approached Gambhir right away, and the two were spotted talking briefly before senior Pro Rajat Bhatia came in the way and distanced them.

  1. Gautam Gambhir Vs. Shahid Afridi

Previously, Gambhir and Afridi got into a heated argument. Afridi purposefully blocked Gambhir's path as he completed the run throughout an India vs. Pakistan game in Kanpur in 2007. Afterward, both individuals could be seen yelling and abusing each other. The argument needed to be broken up, and players and umpires had to intervene.

  1. Bermuda Cricket Teams Battle

Jason Anderson, a batsman representing Bermuda, received a lifetime suspension for encouraging a fight during a club game. Well, it all began when wicket-keeper Anderson, playing for Cleveland County Sports Club, unleashed a vicious attack on batter George O'Brien, playing for Willow Cuts Sports Club, during the King of Championships finale at the St David's Sports Club Ground. The argument quickly became ugly, and the participants could be seen grappling with one another on the ground. James was even caught hitting the batter, in reality.

  1. Shakib Al Hasan vs. The Umpire

Shakib Al Hasan was observed getting into heated arguments with the umpire during a domestic game involving Mohammedan Sporting Club & Abahani Limited after a few of his requests were denied by him. Shakib was spotted sprinting toward the referee at one of his deliveries while wildly raising his hands and kicking the ground.

  1. Inzamam-ul-Haq Vs Fan

A fan and Inzamam-ul-Haq once engaged in a furious disagreement. This accident took place in 1997 at Toronto Cricket during the second ODI of the match when an Indian supporter continued calling him "aloo" and telling him to straighten up due to his overweight. Though Inzi temporarily let go of it, he quickly lost control and was spotted sprinting for the fan with the bat before being prevented by the guards.

Wrapping Up

There are many people watching cricket. The majority of the time, players felt anxious because they had obligations. Sometimes it results in a contentious disagreement when anger turns into a cricket fight in ground. Cricket highlights with such content have gained a lot of public attention. IPL match videos and several international cricket videos are filled with such things and are not healthy for the spirit of sport.
