He added that it was duplicitous for Pakistanis to misuse a cricket game as a justification to attack the Afghan fans deliberately racially.

The Indo-Asian News Service announced on Friday that the ICC expressed significant dissatisfaction with the tense discussion between Afghan and Pakistani players and concluded that the incident and the episode had infringed ICC rules. According to the report, the International Cricket Council penalized Pakistani batsman Asif Ali and Afghan cricketer Fareed Ahmad for violating and disobeying the Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct.
