A Comprehensive Overview of India’s Past Cricket Matches

In 1721 when the British sailor first played cricket on the coast of kutch, Gujrat. In 1751the first ever cricket match took place between British sellers and the British army. The oldest second cricket club was formed in Calcutta.

India had many ups and downs in ODIs from 1985 to 2007. Chetan Sharma made a record of their first hat trick in the world cup in 1987 against New Zealand. 1998 Sachin Tendulkar scored 1894 runs in 33 innings at an average of 65.31. After that, they qualified for the 2003 world cup final. The Indian team was led by M.S. Dhoni, who showed his glory in the 2011 world cup. 

History of T20I the World of Cricket

On December 1, 2006, India finally got a chance to play T20I which happened against South Africa. India won by 127 runs in 4 wickets. This was the first T201s game played by India before the ICC world cup, which was organized in 2007. India lost their first T20I against New Zealand. New Zealand won by ten runs, but in the 13 games of the T20I world cup, the team qualified for the final and won the match by five runs against Pakistan.  

The Emergence of the T20 Format

The BCCI invented the Indian premier league, which is a professional T20 cricket league with 8 Indian cities only. They have to choose players through auctions. On February 1, India recorded the lowest T20I total of 74 runs against Australia. After that, they qualified for the 2014 world cup final but lost against Sri Lanka by six wickets.

That day dhoni scored 91 in 79 deliveries, and Gambhir scored 97. They finished this with a huge six falling to the crowd. This is the most memorable and historical win for india.
